Scotland Food & Drink Excellence Award - again!

The Highland Chocolatier and his team win the national Food Tourism Award for his new Chocolate Exhibition, as well as the Chocolate Shop and Chocolate House next to his chocolate kitchen. The panel of chefs and food industry judges recognised Iain Burnett's contribution to Food and Drink in Scotland, created by the River Tay in the tiny village of Grandtully.

The judges were particularly struck by "ways the business had expanded to provide a well rounded visitor experience", " the obvious passion for chocolate and the emphasis on quality", as well as commitment and continuous growth.

The award was given to  “a quality Scottish food or drink business with authenticity, quality and passion at the centre of their product, as well as emphasising their visitor’s experience.”

Now in their tenth year, the awards are organised and co-sponsored by the Royal Highland and Agricultural Society of Scotland and Scotland Food & Drink. More details can be found at http://bit.ly/mr3sd4
