British Airways First has introduced us to customers as far afield as Australia, Russia and Kuala Lumpur. It’s amazing how far our chocolates now travel! We have a new shop opening in St Andrews, South Street very soon, right in the heart of the developing food quarter, so more of you can pop in and pick up your favourites. At this time of year Iain’s chocolate moulding skills turn to creating giant Easter Eggs! These whoppers stand half a meter tall and can take up to 5kg of chocolate. The Cocoa Dusted Velvet Truffle is Iain Burnett’s signature chocolate. With only natural ingredients it may sound simple, but it took Iain three years to perfect the recipe and achieve the exquisitely smooth texture. The technique he has developed is top secret. Iain tried many sources and combinations before settling on a single variety of cocoa grown on the island of São Tomé and unblended cream from a single herd of Fresian cows grazed in the hills above Crieff in Perthshire.

We know how much you adore chocolate and we have started to share ideas of more ways to savour it in the form of food pairing suggestions and recipes such as the wonderful Rich Tomato and Chocolate Soup. Our Malt Whisky and Chocolate Pairing is evolving fast. We are proud to be aligned to several distilleries and can recommend the perfect chocolate to match no less than 36 whiskies.
